Be a humble sponge... soak up all you can by being involved with CW. This means there's a lot more you should be doing than waiting to put your face in front of the camera. You only become a better journalists after having practiced and made some mistakes. Take the opportunity to test yourself so that you can approach your first professional experience with the polish of a professional.

I'm not "in the business," but I've applied the same skills for executing effectively and communicating clearly nonetheless. In 2006 I launched Teach For Us, a successful social publishing network for Teach For America teachers and alumni. Currently, I'm building a platform called Edthena which will help deliver better coaching for teachers using technology.
