Carolina Week Testimonial: Since my days at the J School, I've moved on to pursuing a career in
law. But everyday I use what I learned in my journalism classes and at Carolina Week. I've found that the ability to write well is a priceless skill, and, more than anything else, my time at Carolina Week taught me how to write. A good writer can take any subject and boil it down to a few key points. And though I might not have reached "good writer" status just yet, Carolina Week put me well on my way. The deadline pressures, the constant feedback and teaching, and the chance to work with smart, interesting people are all things that made Carolina Week a special experience. I distinctly remember those Sunday evenings in the newsroom working on Monday's show, and it's nice to know that every Carolina Week alum will have shared the same experience.
