Carolina Week Testimonial: All I can say is that I identify Carolina Week as what I came to UNC for. I volunteered for three years and received class credit for only two semesters, and a lot of times friends of mine would ask me why I was spending so much time doing something that only rarely had an impact on my GPA. The answer, I always told them, was that I wasn't going to be attending classes and writing papers professionally, but rather, the work I was doing with Carolina Week was what I would be doing for the rest of my life. It was the work I was doing after my classes - not during them - that was going to prepare me for the real world.
