Marium ChaudhryDate of graduation: May, 2007 Carolina Week Testimonial: Carolina Week didn't seem that important to me when I was a part of it. After graduating, when I started working in Pakistan, I realized how crucial it really was. Carolina Week doesn't just teach you how to be a part of a news show and a team; it teaches you discipline (down to a fraction of a second), reporting without bias and remembering that every story is important. It gives you the confidence in knowing that when it comes to journalistic ethics, refusing to go against your morals is honorable--and the professors are the ones who inspire these values into each and everyone of their students. In short, Carolina Week and the J school are the reasons why I have a job--and why I love my job. |
