Carolina Week Testimonial: It's been only a few months since graduation and already I can say with certaintly that volunteering with Carolina Week and Carolina Connection was one of the best things that I did for myself during college. Although I have chosen a different path (media law) ...one that might not involve anchoring, reporting, producing, or even working for a television or radio station, the lessons I learned through CW will serve me well in the future. Carolina Week is excellent preparation for the challenges and realities that students are sure to encounter in whatever field they choose. The long, grueling hours I spent to meet deadlines and perfect pieces now seem minimal compared to what I took away from those experiences. Those experiences, as well as the leadership and communication skills that I gained have already been invaluable to me. Carolina Week is an incredible program with such knowledgeable professors and talented students and I am so thankful to have been a part of it!
