Carolina Week Testimonial: Carolina Week is one of the best things you can find at UNC-Chapel Hill. The experiences it offers you are so broad and hands-on that it often surpasses the experiences of an internship. For those of you who are sure to walk the broadcast path, CW will only enhance your skills and strengthen your love for this field. As for those of you who are still exploring, CW is a quick way for you to find out what you're made for. I became a CWer when I was a junior. Soon after I joined I regretted not finding out about this program two years earlier. The professors are great mentors. The equipment and facility (as much as I used to complain about them) are more than one can ask. It truly prepared me for the work I'm doing. The professors not only teach you the skills that you'll need to land your first job, they also make you realize you can never learn enough. So far, that's the one attitude that has helped me the most in my young career. The most valuable thing CW has given me is probably the life-lasting friendships with my fellow CWers (that includes you Dr. T!).
