Bio: Dylan Field is a Broadcast and New Media Manager at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Dylan has been working with Carolina Week in various capacities since 2003. He helps teach audio and video editing and provides various other forms of tech support to students, faculty and staff in the J-school.

Dylan graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. He was born in Fairbanks, Alaska to decidedly hippie parents but he has called Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, and New Mexico home.

In addition to working for the School of Journalism, Dylan also shoots camera for all UNC football and basketball home games. He is also a free-lance director and videographer for the live Internet broadcasts of Carolina Railhawk soccer games. During the 2007 Special Olympics World Games, he led a group of 50 Chinese and 3 American students in shooting, editing and uploading video clips from every heat of 5 different events as part of a multimedia project.

Dylan loves traveling, spicy food, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, ‘90s alternative rock, esoteric thought, and women with British accents.
