Bio: Considering that some of my first memories are weather events, it's no surprise that I've always wanted to have a career in meteorology. My hometown in the mountains of Virginia is pretty quiet when it comes to extreme weather, but they're a notorious forecasting challenge. I'll be completing my meteorology studies at N.C. State in the spring of 2011. I consider myself very lucky to be a part of Carolina Week, and I'm looking forward to another great year! Until then, if there's a hurricane or thunderstorm headed this way, I'll be keeping an eye on it!
