Preston Jones

Bio: This is Preston's third semester working with Carolina Week, and he's excited to continue his journey into the world of news This semester he'll anchoring and reporting around campus and the community. He's spent several summers interning at news stations, one in his hometown at WSET-TV, and another at WTVD-TV in Durham. Preston also starting working at WTVD-TV as a production assistant his sophomore year, was then promoted to an assignments editor, and now helps produce the Health and Fitness segment. Preston's favorite part of reporting is meeting new people and loves hearing feedback from viewers. Outside of the news world, Preston is a proud UNC Cheerleader and loves cheering on the heels at mens' basketball games.
