Car Wash Raises Funds for Pregnancy Support

What is it worth to get your car washed? A million dollars? Three campus groups hope their efforts, combined with other groups across the nation, can raise that much money.

Students hosted the national Wash for Life fundraiser for the FIRST time in Chapel Hill. The carwash raised money for Pregnancy Support Services. People of all ages joined.

One member of Carolina Hope, Kellie McCoy, was very happy about the turnout.

“I think it's great," McCoy said. "I'm really excited to see that volunteers turned out. I didn't really think that...I was unsure if that would happen or not. So it's great to have the help.”

The carwash raised over $150.00.
