Organizations Hit the Pit To Promote Women's Fitness
By Rachel McDaniel

Many people are stepping-up on campus to make students more aware of ways to improve their health.

On Thursday in the pit, organizations such as Carolina Fitness and Wellness Services joined forces to promote a healthy lifestyle.

The event provided lots of free samples and useful information about health and body image.

You could even get your cholesterol checked on the spot and enjoy a free massage.

A kickboxing demonstration got students pumped up about their bodies.

Instructor and student Shoshanna Moody said it's important to start a healthy lifestyle now and kick your body into shape.

“The healthier you are when you’re younger the healthier you are now, the better off you’ll be as you age and you’ll just age more gracefully,” Moody said.
