Website Gives Students Low-Down on Classes
By Julia Meyer

Registration for the spring semester starts this Saturday, which means it’s crunch time to decide which classes to take.

One website that many students are turning to for help is pickaprof.com.

For seven dollars a semester, students can read reviews of professors posted by previous students.

The website also provides information about the grade break-down in any given class.

Although many students find the site useful, many, like Sondrew Garverick, don’t like to base their decisions on someone else’s opinion.

“Well, I don’t really like pick-a-prof because it takes other people’s opinions and puts it on a website, and you look at that to decide whether or not you want to take a class and I like forming my own opinion for taking the class first,” Garverick said.
