Has the back-to-school stress gotten the best of you already? Then maybe you should head over to the SRC this week for a free massage.
This week the Center for Healthy Student Behavior is offering free five minute massages to students as an introdoction to its new massage therapy program. The program is designed to teach students stress management benefits by focusing on particular areas of tension. Massage therapist Matthew Christen said the program will benefit students throughout the semester.
"There are so many deadlines throughout the year that in order to really cope with those deadlines and all the demands of school, you need to find a way to kind of release," Christen said. "A half an hour or hour massage will definitely do that."
