ACC Schools Boast High Grad Rates
by Kristi Keck

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is ahead of the game when it comes to turning students into graduates. According to the Education Trust, a nonprofit group, fewer than half of students at North Carolina colleges and universities graduate within six years of enrollment.

North Carolina's ACC schools are all above average. At Duke, about 92 percent of students graduate within six years. At Wake, the six year graduation rate is about 87 percent. At UNC-CH, it is nearly 83 percent. At North Carolina State University, about 63 percent graduate within six years. Chancellor James Moeser says he wants the University's rate to be at least 92 percent.
