Men's Basketball Routs Cavaliers

With five straight losses in Charlottesville, the men's basketball team had a lot of making up to do. And make up the Tar Heels did.

The Heels got ahead early off a 26-3 run, and they never looked back. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers couldn't buy a basket at the other end of the court.

And it was "May Day" in the paint, as Sean May collected 20 points. Rashad McCants, on the other hand, was quiet. He didn't have a single basket in the first half. McCants wasn't a threat, but the Heels still annihilated UVA 110-76. It was Virginia's third worst home loss ever.
