Men’s Tennis Delivers a Heartbreak

The women's tennis team gave Kentucky the cold shoulder, and the men's squad tried to duplicate the results Sunday against Purdue.

The Tar Heels showed love and camaraderie early on, but in doubles action, Purdue got no love. Instead, the crowd looked on as UNC-CH punished the Boilermakers and took the doubles point.

After showing their rackets some TLC, the Heels walked all over the Boilermakers in singles' action. Purdue finally served the ball after one player had a bit of trouble, and Carolina fought hard to take all six matches

The men's squad sent the competition packing 7-0. Talk about a heartbreak!
