Basketball to Take On Virginia

You probably won't see any Cavaliers "turning it blue" during Wednesday night's basketball game. The Tar Heels destroyed them in their previous meeting, and it could be another long night for Virginia fans.

After the Heels beat the Cavs by 34 points in Charlottesville, the two teams will now play in Chapel Hill, where the Heels' margin of victory is nearly double that on the road.

Sean May will look to continue his hot streak. Carolina's big man has posted double-doubles in last week's games against Duke and Connecticut.

Though the starters might be taking it easy on the benches by the second half, Dean E. Smith Center officials hope to keep fans up and cheering with an 80s retro night.

The game will have an "'80s Retro Night" look, as both Virginia and Carolina will wear uniforms from the 1980s. Even ESPN is getting into the act.

Commentators Mike Patrick, Len Elmore, and Doris Burke will sport their fabulous '80s attire, and the sports station will use the same graphics it used two decades ago.

Reporter Heather Catlin found that most students were excited about the idea of '80s night, and while some students just simply told her what they planned to wear, others couldn't hold back from singing a little '80s music.
