Tiger Cubs Find Home

Two tiger cubs found walking along the Gaston County and Cleveland County line will soon have a home, and the non-profit organization that took the cubs in needs help. A new site at the Carnivore Preservation Trust in Pittsboro will become the tigers permanent home in March.

The two cubs--one male and one female--are currently at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro while the trust is trying to raise the $350,000 needed to care for the cubs for life. Trust officials want to raise $70,000 by March 12, when the cubs will join other big cats at the park.
