Students Chug for a Good Cause
by Erika Heyder

We’ve all heard that milk does a body good, and we all know what happens when you have too much of a good thing.

There was definitely too much of a good thing on Monday when nearly 20 students helped recruit new members for Students for Students International through a milk-chugging contest. The group raises scholarship money for students in Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Outgoing Student Body President Matt Calabria participated in the chugging challenge.

“Students for Students International is a fantastic organization,” said Calabria. “They are actually relatively new and they have done a lot of good things on campus. I think this will really raise visibility for them.”

Contestants attempted to drink a gallon of milk in less than an hour. The winner was the only person who managed to keep the milk down.
