Health Officials Announce Flu-Shot Shortage
By Paula Cerutti

If you haven't had your flu shot, then you’re out of luck.

Flu season isn't over yet, but Student Health Services is out of flu vaccines, and won't be getting any more until fall. Officials at the Orange County Health Department said their list for shots is already full, and there are no more appointments available.

Student Health Services nurse Carol Kozel explained the shortage has to do with the limited number of vaccines being produced by drug manufacturers. She said if you haven't had your flu shot, it’s up to you to stay healthy this winter.
