Teachers Get Help Teaching about Black History

In honor of Black History Month, a local Web site offers tips for teachers to help them educate their students about black history.

Teachers from Carrboro-Chapel Hill City Schools can consult the site for lesson plans about black history. The site gives ideas for essay topics about prominent black figures and about issues important to the black community.
