Valentine’s Day Extra Busy This Year

Valentine's Day had several men concentrating on some last-minute shopping.

By lunchtime Tuesday, many floral shops were left with nothing but scraps.

The University Florist says sales were higher this year than in the past few years because flower sales tend to be higher when Valentine's Day falls in the middle of a workweek.

Tuesday was also a big holiday for restaurants. Top of the Hill had room for only three walk-ins during dinner.
