Women’s Basketball Team to Take on Duke Again
By Karen Kolman

This should sound familiar. Duke and Carolina are the No. 1 and No. 2-ranked women’s basketball teams in the country, and on Saturday, the two shades of blue will battle for the second time this season in Carmichael Auditorium.

In their most recent match-up, the Tar Heels fought back from a 16-point deficit to claw out a 4-point victory.

Erlana Larkins played strong, scoring 17 of her 23 points in the second half. La’Tangela Atkinson clinched the win, making key free throws in the final minutes.

This time around, the pivotal players will be miss clutch herself, Ivory Latta, and high-scoring Erlana Larkins.

The clash in Carmichael tips off at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
