Athletes Read to Kids in Polk Place

UNC-CH is celebrating Children’s Rights Week this week with the help of some Carolina athletes.

First-graders from Ephesus Elementary School were bundled up in Polk Place Monday afternoon, listening to members of the football team and women’s soccer team read stories.

Even head football coach John Bunting was there interacting with the children. He says this is a good way for his players to get involved in the community.
