Tar Heel Baseball Team Turns Out Win over Purdue
By Karen Kolman

And the Oscar for most dominating performance and best pitcher goes to Andrew Miller. Miller pitched seven innings, taking a no-hitter into the fourth. The game got heated when Miller hit a batter, but Miller stayed cool and threw a total of 13 strikeouts. UNC beat Purdue 7-3.

Mike Fox, the head coach of the baseball team, said Miller’s pitching led the Tar Heels to victory.

“Andrew was the key to our game today, just how well he threw,” Fox said. “And he’s out there on the mound on Sundays, we gotta chance to win every time if he throws like that. We did just enough offensively to get us a win.”
