UNC Softball Steamrolls Golden Griffins

The UNC softball team polished off a full weekend of tournament play with a win against Canisius on Sunday.

The Tar Heels fed the Golden Griffins a steady diet of bunts, singles and homers. First baseman Jennifer Jacbos had two homerun shots for UNC.

Canisius brought some noise with a last minute bases-loaded single, but it wasn't enough to stop the Heels. UNC walked away with an 8-2 win.
