Kidzu Children’s Museum Opens
on Franklin
By Ciji Dodds
If you’re looking for a place to hang
out on Franklin Street, and you’re under
21...inches that is, the new children’s
museum might be the place for you.
The Kidzu Children’s museum opened its
doors on Tuesday. The museum gives parents and
children a chance to explore the world using
their senses and imaginations. Children slid
into a giant make believe bowl of chicken soup,
had fun with mirrors and a Kareoke machine.
When asked what they liked about Kidzu, the
museum’s toughest critics enthusiastically
responded.
“Everything,” said one child.
“I like the ship and the slides,” said
another.
Local businesses like Ben & Jerry’s
sponsored the opening. The museum is open daily
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
