Marketers Develop Town Logo

Marketers are hoping to brand downtown Chapel
Hill as a way to promote a friendly, clean and
safe environment.
An advertisement agency called the Splinter
Group has been contracted to design a logo and
to develop a Web site for the area.
Executive director for the Downtown Partnership
Liz Parham says it’s all meant to give
downtown Chapel Hill a unique identity.
The $15,000 cost for the project will be paid
for by the town of Chapel Hill and the University.
