Women’s Tennis Beats Georgia Tech

The women's tennis team served up two matches against conference rivals this weekend.

Saturday's match was a mix of sun and rain as the Tar Heels earned a win for the 21st time in 28 years of matches against Georgia Tech.

UNC Junior Sara Anundsen upset Alison Silverio, the 62nd-ranked player in the country, and clinched the match at the third seed. The Heels improve to 23-4 overall, at
8-2 conference play.
