Tax Deadline Changes

April means rain showers, hay fever and – yes — taxes.

It's that time of year again, and if you want to smile like people in tax commercials, then you may need to see an accountant who specializes in state and local tax filing.

Taxes are due by April 17 this year, a change from the standard April 15. It’s also a Saturday.

You may not want to wait until Friday. A small location on MLK filed more than double a usual week's claims in just two days this week.
