Campus Group Gives Out Free Booty for Babies

Providing for all the needs of a baby can be an expensive endeavor. One campus group is hoping to make the challenge a little easier.

Carolina Hope sponsored a Baby Hope Day on Friday in the Pit. The group offered free baby items, including clothing, stuffed animals and diapers to everyone.

People from all facets of campus life stopped by the tables to browse through the many baby items.

Event participant Melanie Simpson says the event was a success. "We had a ton of things to give away, and we still have a lot left, but a lot of people were able to walk away with bags full of baby items."

Carolina Hope sponsors a Baby Hope Day every semester.
