Rathskeller Closed for Renovation

A popular game-day spot that’s been a Chapel Hill favorite for more than 50 years is closed, but only temporarily.
When people stroll down Amber Ally, they have to keep on walking past the Rathskeller. And the neon "open" sign…remains dark. A notice in the restaurant’s window said "the rat" is under-going some much needed repairs.
The restaurant is expected to reopen by the end of the summer.
