Airport to Close

The skies will clear up over Horace Williams Airport. Planes won’t fly into the airport beginning July 24th.

University officials say the airport is closing to make repairs to the runway and other improvements to meet FAA requirements.

More than 20 planes are based at this airport. Most of these planes will have their flights rescheduled to RDU. Horace Williams Airport will remain closed for 3 weeks.
