New Lottery Games

Chapel Hill is buzzing about the North Carolina lottery. When the fall season rolls around, there will be two new games to play. The new games are similar to Powerball and will allow players to pick daily numbers. However, these games will offer participants greater odds of winning money.

Stephanie Stewart just bought her first lottery ticket at a gas station today.

"I didn't win, but I'm going to keep trying and hopefully with the new game I’ll get lucky," Stewart said.

The Pick 3 and Pick 5 games will allow players to win up to $50,000 in prizes.
